#Bitcoin Won't get you the highest returns. But it is relatively the safest. How you allocate your portfolio, depends on your risk appetite and what return you're aiming for. Alts can yield good returns but come with much higher risk. Risk adjusted returns matter. Up to you.
A $100K $BTC is in reaching distance. Going to take some time getting used to a 6 figure #Bitcoin. But I like it.
#Bitcoin Volatility has been ticking up on this recent breakout. It's still not close to what it was at earlier this year or previous cycle. As we get further in this cycle, volatility should also remain high.
$ETH Is on track for a good 4th quarter so far. Generally, Q1 is where ETH really shines and also when ETH/BTC tends to outperform. Let's see if this time is any different.
$LUMIA (Re-brand from $ORN) has been consolidating for a while post launch. It is now attempting to break out of its range. This is an RWA project listed on Binance which is only trading at a $125M market cap as we speak. Keeping my eyes on it.
In the previous cycle, the easiest trades you could do is bidding the eventual liquidation cascades with small size, wide invalidation and then just ride that out for a few weeks. Usually you're back to the highs in no time and at that point the risk/reward is often pretty good.
$BTC.D Has seen some decent downside for the first time in a while. This is on the back of the recent ETH/BTC bounce, which has caused a lot of slow alts to start moving as well. Key level in the short term would be this break below 57% which would mark further alt strength.
#Bitcoin has been moving hand in hand with the total USD liquidity in the market. This was until the post election run started after which $BTC accelerated while USD liquidity only ticked up slightly. If USD liquidity increases from here, that should help risk assets like BTC.
In the past month, about 7/10 of the coins in the top 300, have gone up by more than 30%+. This is a massive return for a single month, and shows you why you really don't need the use of leverage during a bull market. You can easily get double digit % months which compound hard
I can recommend everyone to have a take profit plan set before the fomo and mania phase starts. If you start thinking about taking profit then, your mind will be clouded by the extreme euphoria and might make you make bad decisions. Scaling out as price goes up is usually best.
$ETH The ~$3560 level is the last major level before we can start talking about a $4K+ ETH again. I think it's a good thing that it didn't take out on this initial sweep as it has now basically made an equal high which is more likely to get taken out as a future liquidity sweep.
$SOL Took out the local equal (range) lows. We'll have to wait and see if it can find some support here and reverse. Circle would be my trigger for a potential long back to the all time highs. Will depend on where BTC goes in the short term. If it doesn't end up holding this…
The Daily RSI Heatmap is showing a market wide decline back to more healthy levels. Some coins got pretty overheated in a short timespan. The average RSI of ~61 is pretty good and leaves room for further upside once $BTC leads the way.
Corrections like these are perfect to figure out the likely outperformers once a low timeframe bottom is found. Generally the strongest coins are also the first ones to bounce back and often the ones that held up the strongest during the correction itself. From there on out…
#Bitcoin Open Interest still sitting near its all time highs, regardless of the recent low timeframe dip. Data isn't masssively overheated but with the fading momentum, I'd always be a bit cautious for a further cascade of longs. Setting some stink bids might not be a bad idea,…
The $TOTAL Crypto Market Cap reached new all time highs last week. This milestone has come later than $BTC reaching new all time highs because the altcoin market still has some to go to its 2021 highs. Primarily due to $ETH still trading quite a bit lower.
I always hold some $BTC in my portfolio as a solid base. In the long run, it’s by far the easiest coin to hold and it sees good returns each cycle. It will also be the first thing I’m buying in the next bear market, whenever that may be. Altcoins tend to run later in the cycle…
The $MOVE tokenomics have been announced. A big chunk is reserved for the community which is a win in my book 🫡
The Alt Season index calculates the percentage of coins within the top 50 which has outperformed #Bitcoin over the last 90 days. As you can see, it is slowly rising and currently sits at 45% with last month sitting at 55% of alts outperforming $BTC. The momentum is shifting.
About $800M in Open Interest just got wiped out on $ETH. On $BTC it was "just" $400M.
